As agents and appraisers, we are always on the go, aren’t we? Well that’s why I wanted to create a space where you can get valuable tidbits, or as I call them bytes of information, in short segments that you can listen to while you’re out and about. Our blog is dedicated to you, real estate agents. I may also post some helpful information for the folks who use our appraisal services as well, and that would be homeowners, buyers, and investors.

I have met my share of agents along the way and I consistently get asked the same types of questions and the more people I met, the more I realized that there needs to be a space where an agent can go to get the answers they need regarding residential appraisals and the entire appraisal process. It’s not discussed enough and quite frankly, appraisers can be hard to find when you need one.

Despite what experience you’ve had with appraisers in the past, I’m here to shed some light, open the doors, crack the window, and let all the fresh air in and get all the knowledge out. My husband and I own a small but mighty appraisal company called Accredited Appraisals. We have over 30 years of combined experience in both commercial and residential real estate. We like to think we’re different than the average appraiser. We are communicative partners, customer service focused and have an investigative mindset which we feel sets us apart from the competition.

We aim to provide an exceptional client experience and we want to share the knowledge we’ve gained over the years with no expectation of getting anything in return. Why? Because when you know better, you do better. Although central florida may be considered a small community compared to the likes of say, New York City, we feel that there is enough business out there for everyone, and quite frankly a rising tide raises all ships, doesn’t it?

Our blog will be about topics that matter to real estate agents. And why we'll focus on agents is because In my past life I was a business development manager and I supported commercial real estate agents all over Florida for one of the largest commercial brokers in the world. In doing so, I learned quite a bit about sales, the sales person, and what matters most to the clients they serve. Yes, commercial real estate is different than residential. BUT sales is sales and I am one of those that some people call a "learn it all". I consume a lot of content and have been involved in some incredible sales trainings in the last 15+ years that I was at that commercial real estate company. I feel that not only can I shed some light on how an appraiser can be of service to agents in ways you haven’t even considered yet, but I’ll go further to say that an appraiser can help YOU, the agent, stand out among your own competition and in your marketplace.
