Why Correct Square Footage Matters 💰

Although in this report the assessor claims the property tax amount was still correct despite the square footage, this isn’t always the case. Check out the news report (https://lnkd.in/eiU63qha).

When was the last time you checked to make sure your property taxes were correct? Does the square footage listed in public records match what the size of your property really is? 🤷🏽‍♀️

The only way to get an accurate measurement of your property is to hire a local appraiser to measure the house. 🕵🏽‍♀️

📏 We offer measuring services and adhere to a national standard of measuring a single-family residential building. 🏆 You receive an accurately measured floor plan of your home which includes a layout of the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, and other building components like garage, lanai and covered porch.

We can go a step further if you think the assessed market value is too high and provide an analysis of comparable sales 🏡 that demonstrate similar properties are assessed at lower values.

📂 If you are currently in the appeal process we can help gather necessary information, documentation, and evidence such as photographs, property records, and market data.

Any thoughts on the news report? I know you have questions, we love questions, let’s hear ‘em! ⬇ 📢
