Finding Light in Dark Times

This year didn't start off on the brightest note. In January, my sister was called Home and navigating through and with the grief of losing her has been one of the hardest journeys I've had to embark on. My focus naturally shifted towards family and relationships.
But amidst the darkness, I am challenging myself to step out of my comfort zone. As an introvert, reconnecting with others both personally and professionally feels daunting at times. However, I know it's necessary for my own growth and healing. It also shows my children that we are capable of hard things and we can find hope through our toughest times.
I forced myself to attend events, reach out to old acquaintances, and engage with new connections. And you know what? It has actually brought me unexpected clarity. I gained a renewed sense of purpose and direction, both for myself and my business. As an appraiser, they are often one and the same.
In the process, I stumbled upon new opportunities and am forming meaningful relationships within my community. But perhaps the most surprising part is a new solution I've been working on – a bridge to foster better communication between agents and appraisers. It's a project close to my heart, driven by a genuine desire to add value to others' lives. And it came to me when reconnecting with an old friend who happens to also be a lender we work with.
I'll be sharing more details about this plan soon, but for now, I just wanted to remind you that even in our darkest seasons, there's always a glimmer of hope. Sometimes, it's that faint light that guides us towards new beginnings and unexpected blessings.
Thank you for being a part of my journey. Here's to finding light in unexpected places. 💜
